Diagnosis

Female with a narrow protrusion from antennal spicule in most specimens (protrusion may be something excreted from the antenna that sometimes brakes off); mesoscutum metallic dark purple to metallic bluish-green with engraved and weak reticulation, notauli indistinct but indicated as shallow impressions in posterior part; scutellum metallic dark purple with engraved and weak reticulation; propodeum metallic bluish-green with submedian grooves smooth and shiny; femora and tibiae dark brown. Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras, Saint Vincent, Trinidad & Tobago.

Biology

From Cladochaeta sp. (Diptera: Drosophilidae) parasitizing unidentified spittle bugs (Hemiptera: Cercopidae) on Casuarina (Casuarinaceae).
